Laser Hair Removal in Monument and the City of London
If you work around Monument, Bank or the wider City of London, you already know the problem. It is not that you do not want laser. It is that a course means regular appointments over several months, and trekking across London every few weeks between meetings is nobody's idea of a good time.
So we came to you. Laser Me Out is now open in the City of London. It is our third clinic, and our second in London alongside Marylebone. From 24 August, clients working and living around EC3 have somewhere local to have their treatments.
You will find us at:
Laser Me Out36 St Mary at HillLondonEC3R 8DU
Open 9am to 9pm, seven days a week
We are close to Monument, with Bank, Cannon Street and Fenchurch Street also nearby. Here is what to know before booking.
Laser hair removal that fits around a City workday
Laser is not something you do once.
A course involves regular appointments over several months, so having a clinic close to your home or workplace can make a real difference to whether you actually finish it. Our guide to how many sessions you need explains why the spacing matters as much as the number.
If you work around Monument or Bank, our clinic means you can book closer to the office rather than travelling across London every few weeks. We are open 9am to 9pm every day, so early mornings before work and late evenings after it are both available.
Appointment length depends on the areas being treated. Smaller areas such as underarms, upper lip, chin or bikini line will naturally take less time than larger areas or full body treatment.
When booking, our team can let you know how much time to allow for your chosen areas.
Just back from holiday? What happens if you have a tan?
This is particularly relevant in August.
You may have started a laser course earlier in the year, gone away for summer and come back with a different skin tone.
That does not mean you should simply continue using exactly the same treatment settings as before. We have written about this in more detail in our guide to laser hair removal on tanned skin.
At Laser Me Out, we use Soprano Titanium.
The system combines three laser wavelengths:
- 755nm
- 810nm
- 1064nm
It also uses continuous cooling during treatment. If you want the technical comparison, we have covered how Soprano Titanium differs from other laser machines.
Soprano Titanium can be used across a wide range of skin tones, including darker and tanned skin. However, your skin still needs to be assessed properly.
If your skin tone has changed following a holiday, tell your therapist before treatment. We may need to assess your current skin tone and carry out another patch test before continuing.
Sunburnt, peeling, irritated or damaged skin should not be treated.
The important point is simple: do not decide for yourself that your skin is ready just because you have had laser previously. Let the therapist check it first.
What if I paused my laser course over summer?
A longer gap does not automatically mean starting from zero.
Laser works around the hair growth cycle, which is why appointments need to be spaced rather than completed one after another.
If you have had a longer gap because of travel, sun exposure or other circumstances, the therapist can look at your current regrowth and advise you on the right spacing for your remaining sessions. Our guide to travelling between laser sessions covers how to plan a course around holidays in future.
If you started treatment with another clinic and are considering moving to Laser Me Out, tell us:
- How many sessions you have completed
- Which areas were treated
- Which machine was used, if you know
- When you had your last treatment
- How your hair responded
- Whether your skin or medical history has changed
We will still carry out our own consultation and assessment before treating you.
What areas can you treat at Monument?
You do not have to book full body laser.
Your course can focus on the areas where you actually want hair reduction.
Areas can include:
- Hollywood
- Bikini line
- Underarms
- Full legs
- Half legs
- Full arms
- Face
- Chin
- Upper lip
- Neck
- Chest and stomach
- Back and shoulders
- Buttocks
- Nipples
- Navel line
If you only want a few areas treated, our Pick and Mix option may make more sense than full body.
Your consultation is there to work out what is suitable before you commit to treatment.
Is Soprano Titanium suitable for darker skin?
Yes, Soprano Titanium is designed to treat a wide range of skin tones. We have a full guide to laser hair removal for South Asian and melanin rich skin if you want the detail.
This matters because laser works by using light energy to target pigment associated with the hair follicle.
The Soprano Titanium system combines three wavelengths at different penetration depths rather than relying on one wavelength alone.
However, the machine is only one part of the treatment.
Your therapist still needs to assess:
- Your skin tone
- Hair colour
- Hair thickness
- Treatment area
- Previous laser treatment
- Medication
- Relevant medical history
- Recent sun exposure
A consultation and patch test should come before your first treatment.
Does laser work on every hair colour?
No.
Hair suitability matters just as much as skin tone.
Dark and coarse hair generally provides a stronger target for laser because it contains more pigment.
Very light blonde, white and grey hair can be difficult or unsuitable to treat effectively because there may not be enough pigment for the laser to target.
This is particularly important when considering facial laser.
If you have mostly fine or very light facial hair, we will assess it before recommending treatment rather than automatically adding full face to your course. For hormonal facial hair specifically, our guide to PCOS facial hair and laser explains what to expect.
What happens at your consultation and patch test?
Before your first treatment with Laser Me Out, you will have a consultation and patch test. We have written a full walkthrough of what happens at a Laser Me Out consultation if you would like to know exactly what to expect.
Your therapist will look at your hair and skin and discuss the areas you want treated.
We will also ask about:
- Previous laser treatments
- Medical history
- Medication
- Topical creams
- Allergies
- Recent changes to your health
Please do not shave before your consultation and patch test.
We need to see the natural hair growth so the therapist can assess its colour and thickness properly.
Once you move on to your actual treatment appointments, you will normally be asked to shave beforehand according to the instructions provided by the clinic. If you are prone to irritation, our guide to shaving without irritation will help you prep properly.
How many laser hair removal sessions will I need?
There is no number that applies to absolutely everyone.
Six sessions are a common starting course, but some people need additional treatments or maintenance.
Results depend on factors including:
- Hair colour
- Hair thickness
- Treatment area
- Hormones
- Hair growth cycle
- Session spacing
- Previous hair removal methods
- Individual response to treatment
Hormonal areas such as the chin and parts of the face can sometimes require additional treatments or ongoing maintenance.
We would rather explain that at the beginning than promise that every client will have identical results after exactly six sessions.
What to do after your session
Aftercare matters as much as the treatment itself, particularly in summer. Our post laser aftercare guide covers what is normal, what to avoid, and when to contact the clinic.

Frequently asked questions about laser hair removal in Monument
More answers are on our FAQ page.
What are the opening hours at Laser Me Out Monument?
We are open 9am to 9pm, seven days a week.
Can I have laser if I have recently been on holiday?
Potentially, yes. Soprano Titanium can be used across a wide range of skin tones, including tanned skin, but we still need to assess your current skin condition and may need to patch test you again.
We will not treat sunburnt, peeling or irritated skin.
Is laser hair removal suitable for darker skin?
Soprano Titanium is designed for Fitzpatrick skin types I to VI. Your skin and hair are still individually assessed before treatment.
Does laser hair removal hurt?
Soprano Titanium uses continuous cooling during treatment and is designed with comfort in mind.
What you feel will vary depending on your skin, hair and treatment area.
Your patch test gives you an opportunity to experience the treatment before your first full session.
Should I shave before laser?
For your actual laser treatment, you will normally need to shave beforehand according to the instructions given by your therapist.
For your initial consultation and patch test, however, please leave some visible hair growth so we can assess it.
Should I wax between sessions?
No.
Waxing, threading, plucking and epilating pull the hair from the root.
Laser treatment needs the follicle to remain present, so shaving is normally the preferred method between appointments.
How many sessions do I need?
Six sessions are a common starting point, although some clients need more. Hormonal areas can also require maintenance.
Your therapist will assess how your hair responds throughout your course.
Which stations are near Laser Me Out Monument?
Monument is the closest station. Bank, Cannon Street and Fenchurch Street are also nearby.
Our address is 36 St Mary at Hill, London, EC3R 8DU.
