Laser Me Out is now open in Birmingham
Laser Me Out is no longer just a London clinic. We are now open on Hagley Road in Birmingham, bringing the same Soprano Titanium technology, inclusive approach, and honest results from our Baker Street clinic to the Midlands.
This blog explains why we chose Birmingham, what makes our laser different, and what to expect from your first visit.
How Laser Me Out started
Laser Me Out was built out of frustration, not trend.
Our founder, Shireen Forster, was diagnosed with PCOS at 17. Like many people with hormonal hair growth, she spent years trying to manage it. Within two years she had spent more than 7000 pounds on laser across multiple clinics and still had not found a place that was:
- Honest about results for PCOS
- Inclusive of all skin tones
- Clear and fair on pricing
PCOS related hair growth can be stubborn. People with PCOS often need more sessions than average and benefit from long term maintenance, but satisfaction is high when expectations are set clearly.
Laser Me Out grew from that gap. One clinic where:
- Darker skin tones are not an afterthought
- Coarse, hormonal hair is taken seriously
- You are told the truth about what laser can and cannot do
Why Birmingham and why Hagley Road
Birmingham was the natural next step for us.
- It is one of the most diverse cities in the UK, with a wide range of skin tones and hair types
- Hagley Road and nearby Edgbaston already have medical and aesthetic clinics, so people are used to coming here for treatment
- It is easy to reach from the city centre and surrounding areas by car or bus
A lot of our London clients already travel in from the Midlands for laser. Opening on Hagley Road means:
- Local clients can finally be treated closer to home
- Clients who move or study in Birmingham can continue their course without starting again
- People who prefer not to travel into central London now have a closer option
What makes our laser different
At both Baker Street and Hagley Road we use the Soprano Titanium system by Alma. Here is what that means in simple terms.
1. Designed for all skin tones
Soprano Titanium is built to be safe on fair, olive, brown and deep skin tones. It uses gradual heating and strong cooling, lowering the risk of burns or pigmentation changes that older lasers can cause.
2. Lower discomfort than older systems
No laser is fully sensation free, but Soprano Titanium is often described as warm and manageable because:
- The handpiece glides back and forth rather than firing on one static spot
- The cooling keeps the skin calm while the follicle heats up
Most clients describe it as a warm, prickly feeling.
3. Better for coarse and hormonal hair
The wavelengths used in Soprano Titanium work well on coarse and dense hair, including hormonal growth on the face, neck, chest, stomach and lower body.
This does not mean one course fixes PCOS hair forever. It means you get a realistic plan instead of being told that six sessions will remove hormonal hair for life.
Our PCOS Membership
A lot of people with PCOS have had bad experiences with laser.
Common issues include:
- Being told they are not a good candidate
- Being sold a small course that does not match their hair growth
- Being blamed when regrowth happens
Laser can still give strong reduction in PCOS hair, but more sessions and maintenance are usually needed.
At Laser Me Out we:
- Offer a PCOS Membership that allows unlimited sessions within the set period
- Provide discounted maintenance after the main course
- Plan sessions around medication and hormone changes if relevant
- Set honest expectations about results and maintenance
The goal is simple. Less time thinking about hair and more time living your life.
What to expect at our Birmingham clinic
Here is how your first visit to Hagley Road usually goes.
1. Free consultation
You will sit with a laser therapist who will:
- Go through your medical history and current medication
- Ask about your hair growth and past treatments
- Check the areas you want to treat
- Explain how the laser works in plain terms
If you have PCOS or another hormonal condition, we include that in the plan from the start.
2. Patch test
Before treatment we do a patch test on each area at the correct settings. We check:
- Immediate skin reaction
- How your skin looks after 24 to 48 hours
- How the hair sheds over the next couple of weeks
We only book the full session once we know your skin responds well.
3. Dry brushing before laser
Dry brushing is included before every session. It helps to:
- Remove dead skin
- Lift flat hairs
- Reduce the chance of ingrown hairs
You also receive simple aftercare steps to keep your skin calm.
Who we treat in Birmingham
The Hagley Road clinic treats:
- Women and men
- Cis and trans clients
- All skin tones and hair types
- Clients with PCOS and other hormonal conditions
Popular areas include:
- Face, neck and chin
- Underarms
- Hollywood and bikini
- Legs
- Back and chest
How many sessions will I need
There is no single number that fits everyone.
- For non hormonal areas, many clients see strong reduction after 6 to 8 sessions
- For hormonal areas or PCOS, you may need more sessions plus maintenance
At your consultation we will:
- Look at hair thickness and density
- Check whether the area is hormone driven
- Give you a plan with honest expectations
Is laser hair removal safe for dark or tanned skin
Yes, with the right laser and settings.
Soprano Titanium is designed to work safely on darker and tanned skin because of its gradual heating and strong cooling.
We do avoid treating freshly sunburnt or heavily tanned skin for safety reasons.
Do you treat men at the Birmingham clinic
Yes. We treat male clients for areas such as:
- Back and shoulders
- Chest and stomach
- Neck and beard line
We use the same laser system and safety checks.

- Safety for all skin tones
- Realistic plans for PCOS and hormonal hair
- Dry brushing and aftercare included

We started with one small London clinic and grew through word of mouth, real results and clients who felt heard.
