Alright, listen up! The laser needs to target those hair roots, so waxing, tweezing, or anything that pulls out the hair (bye, wax strips!) is a no-go for at least 4 weeks before your session.

 These methods remove the follicle, and the laser’s got nothing to zap.


But shaving? Totally fine — in fact, it’s actually recommended! Just make sure to shave the area 24 hours before your appointment with a fresh razor (trust me, this will make all the difference for smooth skin and zero irritation).

And for the week before your session, no harsh exfoliators or active skincare like retinol or glycolic acid — keep it simple and gentle so your skin is all calm and ready for the laser.
